Study Info:  Neuropsychological Functioning Associated with OCD  Dr. Benjamin Greenberg of Butler Hospital and Dr. Darin Dougherty of Massachusetts General Hospital are interested in studying the underlying brain mechanisms involved in OCD behavior in people with severe OCD that has been relatively non-responsive to treatment.   Participation is open to adults between the ages of 18 and 65 diagnosed with severe OCD who live within driving distance of Providence or Boston. Eligible participants will have had repeated attempts at treatment with both medication and behavioral therapy without experiencing a lasting reduction in their symptoms.  Participants will be asked to complete a series of paper and pencil questionnaires and play two short computer games. Testing will take place over the course of back-to-back days and involve two 3-hour sessions. Participants will be expected to repeat the testing in approximately 1 year. Participants are compensated for their time.  For more information, or to sign up, please call Chris Spofford, 401-455-6366, Ext. 2339 or e-mail: CSpofford@Butler.org.
