Group Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Adolescents with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

Description:
This group is designed for adolescents who are living with moderate to severe obsessive-compulsive disorder. Using cognitive-behavioral treatment techniques in a group format, clients will be taught ways to cope with and directly address their OCD symptoms. Participants should be prepared to commit to challenging their current thinking patterns and OCD behavior.
Participants:
This group is specifically designed to help adolescents (ages 13-17) who are struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder. The group will be limited to 10-12 members. Ideally, participants will have experience with CBT treatment for OCD and an individual therapist (past or present).
Time Frame:
Participants will commit to attending 8 weekly group sessions.
