The following is information which the OC Foundation of Greater Boston, Inc. (OCF/GB) currently has on OCD support and treatment groups in the New England area. This information is gathered from a variety of sources and the OCF/GB and its members, officers and directors cannot vouch for its accuracy. Moreover, the OCF/GB and its members, officers and directors are not responsible in any way for the activities of the OCD support groups or for the actions, opinions or statements of any persons attending them. 


WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU CALL THE PHONE NUMBERS LISTED WITH EACH GROUP TO MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUP IS STILL MEETING AND THAT THE LOCATION HAS REMAINED THE SAME.

Open
- members may enter at any time
- members attend only when they wish
- no time commitment required
- different members may appear each meeting
- members have full responsibility for deciding the direction the group takes
- most have no fee

Closed
- members enter via screening discussion with leader
- members asked for initial commitment to attend a certain # of meetings
- same members return every week or meeting time
- members have considerable input, but meeting is time-limited, structured and focused by professional leader
- most have a fee and accept insurance
- most professionally led groups are closed

G.U.T.T.S. is a Support Group for folks with issues and problems in the areas of OCD, relationships, codependency, gambling, food, anxiety, smoking, drugs, alcohol, work, overspending etc.... and for those who love them.
All who are coping or suffering with these issues are welcome to come and see how working the 12 Steps can be a road to gaining understanding..... by having the guts to look in the mirror, with the help of 12 Step Ttools, and move into recovery.
Lastly this support group is anonymous... no last names, no registration, no insurance, no charge. (Attendees who can afford it, may donate for expenses; typical donation is $1 per meeting).
